Severn River Outpost: The Wild. Your Way.

True isolation is the ultimate luxury. With the modern world left behind, The Outpost offers absolute privacy across 3,500 acres of wild landscape, bordered by 6km of private Severn River frontage — one off-grid cabin in the middle of it, in the New England high country, left exactly as it should be.

Off-grid, on purpose. The cabin is open-plan and bathed in natural light, with expansive windows connecting you straight to the ridges and the dam below. Rugged wilderness meets real comfort — a wood-fire heater, an equipped kitchen with a fridge/freezer and a BBQ on the verandah. Sleeps up to six.

The Hut

3,500 acres to explore on your own terms. Walk the bush, bring the mountain bikes, swim the river, or just find a quiet spot and slow down. Fallow deer and native birdlife move through at dawn and dusk, and once the sun drops, a stone fire pit and a sky full of stars take over.

Murray Cod & Yellowbelly Fishing

The river frontage offers access to catch-and-release fishing for native Murray Cod and Yellowbelly, with deep, permanent waterholes giving guests the chance to experience the thrill of a strike in a completely private fishery.
